The next November 17, 18 and 19 take place the Design Business Conference 2011 in connection with the opennig of the new IED Barcelona, Escola Superior de Disseny location. The event, organized by the IED and The Grameen Creative Lab, aims to develop the next generation of business innovators and designer entrepreneurs who can act as agents of change in the organizations they join and the new ventures they establish.
During three days, more than eighty international professionals from management and design schools, leading practitioners in design and management as well as entrepreneurs from social business, discuss different aspects of business design as the design thinking, the processes and models of designing business, its educational settings or the managing designing.
The workshop be led by the IED Advisory Board formed by the sociologist Derrick de Kerckhove, connected intelligence expert, Richard Buchanan, designer and theorist of international renown, Ken Friedman, renowned artist and expert in science philosophy and design education, Francisco Jarauta, IED España scientific director and Muhammad Yunus, creator of microcredit and Nobel Peace Prize 2006.
The conference will culminate in an open public debate the 19th at 11.30h with the renowed advisory board.
