Master in Fashion Design



Objective

The master's degree in Fashion Design is meant to bring professionals with studies in other fields to the complex world of contemporary fashion.
The course provides a solid cultural base for understanding fashion as a social system linked to the historical evolution of styles and trends, artistic movements and socio-cultural and economic changes that influence society.

This master offers a solid foundation to address the fashion world with their multiple aspects. The student experience the workshop following the different stages of production of a garment through practical exercises and the assistance of professionals.

Program
The course provides an introductory part dedicated to technical, instrumental and methodological key concepts analyzed under a creative and yet strategic standpoint.

At the end of this part the students will have acquired the skills that allow them to develop their stylistic identity to be applied later in the practical phase of the workshop.

The course has a strong practical character looking to increase the students creativity and personal style from the concept and idea to the final product realization.

The course is structured in modules that includes workshops, visits, group work and professional conferences, interspersed with the projects and the review of the work.

In each module there will be a test of acquired knowledge and skills.

Target
Graduates of the different areas of communication, humanities, fashion and design or professionals with a minimum of two years experience in the field, seeking to expand their knowledge in a different sector complementary to their training.
