Computer use in the graphic arts has profoundly evolved the production process of all the graphic designers’ commissions: creating logos, studying and applying a corporate image, creating insertions, advertising pages and brochures, magazine and book layouts.
Programme
The Graphic Design for Publishing course uses the Adobe Creative Suite 3 programs consisting of the development of all the graphic design phases of production. It is structured based on the use of typographies and the fundamentals to graphic design for publishing, beginning with vector programs, with which titles, short texts, borders and illustrations can be designed. The next phase works with the digitalization and creation of the images which are normally contributed photographs to be inserted into the interior of the publication. The final phase consists of the layout programs to produce the final published work.
Admission
The course is principally aimed at those who wish to begin to use ,or who for professional purposes need to control, the basic tools to generate quality publications and to become familiar with the basic concepts of graphic design especially those related to print.
