Summer Course in Coolhunting & Fashion Trends (English)

ADVANCED COURSE

The term ‘cool hunting’ first emerged in the 90s, in reference to trend research. It is used in design, fashion, technology, and gastronomy industries, among others.

Results from this research provide an essential tool for companies looking to stay one step ahead of the competition.

Content
The course aims to teach students about cool hunting and the resources associated with production of leading-edge articles for the market.

The course will take a look at the origins of cool hunting and study its theoretical bases. Students will carry out practical activities in which each participant will become an observer and trend researcher. 

Who is it for?
Graduates or second-stage fashion, communication or marketing students, professionals with over two years’ experience in these sectors. Students from other specialities will also be considered.

Total hours
: 100 hours
Beginning and end: July 4-22, 2012
Timetable: Monday to Friday, 9.30pm to 14.30pm
Language: English

Certificate
: Everyone who attends at least 80% of the classes and passes the final project, will receive an IED certificate.

Optional accommodation
: The ‘full package’ option (course + accommodation) allows you to book a single room (from 1 to 31 July), sharing a kitchen, in one of the best halls of residence in the city.

Enrolment period
:
Enrolment is open until 18 May for students requiring accommodation. Those applying for the course only have up to 16 June to enrol.
